Summer Camp

The Conroe Area Baseball Camp will be held June 4-6 at Ferrell Park @ Elmore Field on the Conroe High School Campus. Camp is open to kids 6-15 (entering Freshman) years of age from 9:00 to 12:00 - cost of the camp is $75. The camp will provide all attendees with instruction from Conroe High School Coaches and former players. Emphasis will be placed on throwing mechanics, base running/sliding, fundamentals of hitting and fielding, and drills designed to make you a better offensive and defensive player.

Tigers Conclude Season with End of Year Banquet
The Conroe Tigers Baseball program closed out the year with their annual End of Year Banquet held at the C3 church on Tuesday night. It was a time to celebrate this years season and give the graduating Seniors one final opportunity to be apart of the baseball Program. Also team and Individual awards were handed out prior closing video. This years awards were handed out to the following individuals:

Congratulations to all the award winners. Also a big thank you to graduating Seniors and parents for their contributions to the CHS baseball program over the last 4 years. Your contributions are much appreciated and you will always be a memeber of the CHS baseball family. Graduating Seniors are Lane Johnson, Chase Vogel, Cody Myrick, Anthony Elizondo, and Devin Adams. Special thank you to Toni Elizondo, outgoing Booster Club VP, for time and service to the board over the last three years.

Tigers Fall to Oak Ridge
The Oak Ridge War Eagles used a 7-run third inning to put the game out of reach early in route to a 12-2 victory over the Conroe Tigers at Ferrell Park on Thursday night. Conroe was held in check throughout the night getting only four singles (Chase Vogel, Mitch Henshaw, Chris Stevenson, and Lane Johnson) and picked up their only two runs of the game in the fifth inning on a couple of walks, a hit batter, and a wild pitch. The Tigers now stand 0-2 in District paly and will be taking on the Kingwood Mustangs, who defeated College Park on Thursday night, on Tueday 3/20 at Kingwood High School - game time is 7:00.

Conroe Rally Falls Short
The College Park Cavaliers rushed out to a 7-0 lead after one inning and held off the Conroe Tigers Rally to come away with a 8-5 victory on Friday Night.
Cody Myrick pitched a complete game for the Tigers and took the loss. Lane Johnson lead the Tigers hitting attack going 2/4 with 2 RBI's and Mitch Henshaw went 3/4 with a run scored.
Conroe now stands 6-15-1 on the year and 1-9 in District play. The Tigers will be out of action until Friday April 20 when they host the Atascocita Eagles at Ferrel Park - game time is 7:00.Â

Tournamanet Updates
The Conroe Tigers baseball program was dealt a blow by Mother Nature this past weekend when all games were cancelled for all three teams. District play starts on Tuesaday as the Varsity travels to Lufkin and the JV and Soph teams play home games starting at 4:00. Please come out and support the sub-varsity squads as they take on a tough Lufkin baseball program.
